The oldest prophecy in all of Scripture is not found in the book of Daniel. It is not found in Isaiah or Ezekiel or the Revelation of John. It is found in a garden — in the immediate aftermath of the fall of man — when God Himself turned to the serpent and declared what would unfold across all of human history. "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." — Genesis 3:15
