The baseline reality of the Christian walk under the hand of Almighty God is not one of static comfort, but of severe, structural transformation. When a believer is brought into the household of faith, they are not left to remain as they were found. God does not compromise with human nature, nor does He bargain with the independent will of man. He intends to produce an uncompromised reflection of His own character within the believer. To achieve this, the Father utilizes two distinct, parallel operations of His power: the baptism of the Holy Ghost and the baptism of fire.
